The role
As a Senior Data Processor within our ROC (Remote Operations Centre) you will solve complex problems where precedent may not exist by 1) coordinating the interpretation and reporting of post-processed office and field related geo-data, 2) carrying out complex computations and compilation of data analysis reports, 3) proposing improvements of research methods and quality systems, 4) providing technical input for tenders, 5) assisting with the establishment and compilation of project procedures, 6) making recommendations, including any supplementary investigations, 7) contributing to acquisition activities and, 8) taking on tasks that have been escalated by junior team members.
Often leads/coordinates the work of a small team and/or deputises the manager, but people management is not a focus. This role may require daily production oversight and reporting for all geospatial related projects.
Who we’re looking for:
Requires in-depth expertise in one or more of the following subject areas and must be proficient with all of the following subjects including; Feature Manipulation Engine (FME), GIS, ArcGIS, coordinate systems and projections, complex geospatial analysis and geodatabase design. Requires a university degree and in-depth knowledge and experience of the organisation, processes and customers.
