KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Position – Kitchen Assistant
Responsible to – Chef
Purpose of Position
To assist the chef in the day to day running of the kitchen.
Principle Responsibilities
- The maintenance of a safe, hygienic kitchen and ancillary catering areas.
- Give assistance with preparation of daily menus when appropriate.
- The preparation and setting of tables, trolleys, and trays for serving meals and residents. Removal of all used crockery and cutlery, after meals.
- Use of dish washer and manual washing up after meals.
- Cleaning of all kitchen areas and equipment.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
