£10.50 per hour - EQUATED PAY
16 hours per week- equated pay, term time only 39 working weeks 43.7 paid weeks. No evenings and no weekends!
We are currently recruiting a catering assistant to deliver exceptional service for our busy canteen at Caldicot School.
The role is a permanent position. Days of work are Monday-Friday with occasional overtime offered to cover staff absence.
You must have a have a passion for fresh food, an eye for detail and have a forward thinking attitude. Experience in catering production. Relevant experience in a similar customer facing role is also desirable, as is personality, professionalism, innovative and a hard working persona.
The ideal candidates will have the following skills and qualities:
- Previous experience within the catering or retail sector.
- Experience in high volume food production
- Knowledge of allergen legislation
- The ability to assist the manager in managing a busy operation.
- Strong health and safety and food hygiene knowledge, particularly with regards to allergens management.
- A team player who leads from the front.
- Passionate about providing a first class service to all customers.
Experience in the services industry is desirable but not essential, as is personality, professionalism and a hard working persona.
