From humble beginnings in 2005, this family run business has been developing the Basset Down landscape and has evolved into a modern multipurpose public facility, hosting avid golfers, footgolfers, Padel Tennis fans and regular passionate diners.
Since our extension in 2021, we have grown the brand into a gorgeous eatery which is multipurpose for our client base. Whether you’re eating out for an intimate dining experience for two, proposing a business function, hungry after a competitive 9 holes or celebrating the perfect day, our catering ability has a diverse breadth and versatility to accommodate both regular and new customers.
We have a variety of dining areas from a colourful and vibrant restaurant to a cosy and warming lounge setting. Or if you prefer, sit at our gorgeous balcony which scopes the picturesque views over Basset Down; we pride ourselves in the venue and the experience our patrons have. Last year over 65% of our customers attended for purely to enjoy our dining experience.

The Role
As our busy restaurant/bar trade continues to grow we need to expand our team and are currently looking for Waiting Staff with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a busy hospitality environment. This part-time role is for Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday shifts on a permanent basis.
This role will suit you if you are:
- Someone who thrives on the hustle and bustle of hospitality and enjoys being part of a great team who provide high level customer service.
- Experienced in a similar, busy hospitality food and beverage operation offering table service, taking orders, running food and serving drinks.
- Able to prioritise your workload and work well under pressure.
- Confident and a well-presented individual, keen to provide excellent customer service to our valued clients
- A great communicator with a keen eye for detail
- A true team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
