Early Years Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Women Children & Families Service, working with Health Visitors teams. As an integral part of the service you will work with families in Dundee to support Health Visiting teams to achieve our aim of enabling children to reach their full potential.


You will be required to hold relevant UK HNC in Health and Social Care (e.g. Early Years Care & Education) or NNEB qualifications or equivalent.

You will be able to demonstrate and evidence post qualifying knowledge, have experience with children and have sound knowledge and skills of child development, play and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Whilst not essential, any of the following experience will be a distinct advantage:-


  • Working with vulnerable families
  • Working in the domiciliary setting
  • Delivering parenting programmes


Hours of work are: 22.5 hours per week
